Safe Cruise

Project Safe Cruise Press Release: See www.projectsafecruise.blogspot.com & details below. Leave a message if you have experienced incidents involving poor security & safety practices of cruise lines. Hearings are scheduled; we will provide them to Congress. We must act to insure passenger safety. The current lack of safety & security is not acceptable especially after 9/11. On 5/12/05, we were on the Carnival Destiny near Aruba when an elderly couple disappeared without a trace.

Government could save $50 billion per year by having two shifts of white collar employees work each day. Office space costs $50,000/year for each employee yet we only use space 30% of time. We can no longer afford to have banker's hours for all. With over 2 million federal employees this cost-free paradigm change could avoid lay offs/furloughs and reduce pollution. Murder Mysteries at Sea also offered on Carnival Ships

27 of the 44 people that went overboard since the year 2000 were passengers on ships operated by the Carnival Corporation. Their safety/security record is worse than Royal Caribbean's. http://www.murdermysteryatsea.com/
The investigative staff at Mysteries on the Net has been diligently following all leads with an agent of Carnival Cruise Lines to plan an event that could be the highlight of your murder mystery career.
From March 25th thru April 2nd, 2006 we'll take the
Carnival Legend, one of Carnival's most-requested ships, to Central America with stops in Belize, Costa Rica and Panama.

I heard that the producers of this event were toying with the idea of a REAL MURDER on this sailing, figuring that no one would care or really investigate anyway. But that won't keep ME away from cruising. If you do the math, it's easy to see that even a dozen incidents out of MILLIONS OF PASSENGERS still makes it much safer than being right here in my own city where your chances of foul play is more like 1 in a THOUSAND!
